Chantel - Tutor & Director
Chantel has been in the hair, beauty and holisitic industry for over 21 years, starting her training at the age of 19. After completing a hair and beauty course she went on to study A Levels in Biology, Psychology & Sociology with the desire to go on to university to become a nurse. In 2013 she was accepted onto an adult nursing degree course at Liverpool John Moores University and successfully graduated in 2016.
She went on to be a nurse in accute medicine, progressing to a sister in geriatric nursing after just 2 years & remained there for the next 8 years.
It was during these years that Chantel gained a passion for teaching and became the education link for students within her workplace. Providing educational experiences as well as being an anchor of support and advocate for her students.
Chantel wanted to broaden her knowledge and experiences and went on to further studies in the beauty industry whilst still working as a nurse. She completed a makeup artistry diploma, a non-invasive aesthetics course in laser and epilation and a reflexology diploma. Along side these courses Chantel studied sedveral commercial courses, enhancing her knowledge base further
Chantel also went on to achieve a qualification in education and training, giving her the tools to become an educator. She is extremely passionate about being a tutor and thrives on teaching students; passing on her wealth of knowledge and experiences as well as teaching in ways that are suitable for all learners. Her teaching feedback is exemplary.
She is currently studying an Internal Quality Assutance (IQA) qualification as well as a level 7 aesthetic practitioner course, with an aim to be able to teach this in the future.
